HE CALMED THE STORM

This particular storm was unlike any other storm

Everyone told her that she would not make it through the storm

After she made it through the storm, the same folk that said that she would not make it through the storm

The same folk asked her How did she make it through

Mother replied that He calmed the storm

They asked her, who is He? She told them again the Lord

She said it for last time with a smile

He calmed the storm

The author's mom loves storms and views life challenges as such. So this poem illustrates how her mom told one of her colleagues about how God was responsible for overcoming the challenges of life. One incident was that everyone was questioning how she made it through, and she smiled and said that He Calmed the Storm.
